John Allen is an American actress. He was born on August 20, 1956. He was born in Rochelle, Illinois, USA. He started his career in 1986. Her maternal education is at the University of Eastern Illinois and the University of Northern Illinois. John Allen has acted in three mediums – stage, film and television.
Allen Nixon won two consecutive Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Pat Nixon in the 1995 film and for her role as Elizabeth Proctor, a woman accused of witchcraft in The Crucible (1998). He then starred in Ang Lee’s 1997 drama The Ice Storm and John Woo’s Violent Face / off and in 1997 the comedy Pleasantville. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as a politician in The Contender 2000.
He later starred as CIA Director Pamela Landy in The Born Supremacy 2004, The Born Ultimatum 2006, and The Born Legacy 2012. And in 2006 he played the role of a prison warden in the movie Death Race. Allen married in 1990. She is married to actor Peter Friedman. They had a daughter, Sadie, in 1994. Then in 2002 he was separated.
