A remitter can send a remittance from any select Exchange houses of Dutch-Bangla Bank and other Bangladeshi Banks placed worldwide. The remitted money will be transferred to the beneficiary’s Agent Banking account within 24-72 hours, and the beneficiary will receive an SMS about the deposit.

How many ways Remitter can you send a Remittance to form Foreign?:

Remitters living abroad from Bangladesh can also send Remittances in two ways. Such as-

  1. Agent Banking Account Number by directly and
  2. PIN Number.

How to withdraw Remittance:

  2. The beneficiary will Submit NID & PIN (Request Form) to DBBL-authorized Agent Outlet Point to withdraw the remitted amount.
  3. Agent Outlet Teller uploads the NID & PIN to DBBL System.4.
  4. DBBL Verify the data & transfers the fund to the Agent Outlet Account for further payment to the beneficiary.

Firstly, you will go to any DBBL Branch and the respective officer who will process Internet banking.

Secondly, write/fill out an application, including all documents with Gmail for internet banking, and provide all documents to the respective officer.

Thirdly, the Respective officer will complete these tasks, and the Username and password will be sent to the Gmail account of the account holder on that day/the next day, or the Account holder will come to the Branch to take the username and password on the day appointed by the Respective officer.

  • First, you must install the Nexus Pay app and set the username and password. Then, add your account/card. You must log in with your username and password to download a statement.

How to Agent banking registration (New Customers):

When customers are registered, then services are provided. A new customer will go to the agent outlet for registration and provide them with the following documents:

  • The account opening form must be filled in full, signed
  • NID/ any photo ID card
  • Two copies of passport-size photograph
  • One copy of your nominee’s passport-size photograph
  • Customer Registration Process:
  • The agent will start account registration through the device.
  • The agent will capture the applicant’s fingerprint.
  • The customer will get an SMS on their mobile, and the account will be displayed on the device.

Cash Deposit in Sub agent outlet:

  • If Customers want to deposit, they will hand over the account and cash to the Teller.
  • Subagent tellers will process the portal and start deposit transactions.
  • The Teller will input the customer account number, amount, and FP.
  • The system will debit the amount from the sub-agent account and credit the customer account.
  • The customer and Teller will get a confirmation SMS, and Teller will give the customer a money slip.

Deposit at First Track cash Deposit Machine:

  • The customer will go to Fast Track for the deposit and fill out the deposit form
  • A fast-track officer will process and drop the envelope into CDM.
  • CDM will provide the customer with a deposit slip.
  • The First Track Officer will send the envelope to the Branch
  • The Branch Officer will credit the customer account.
  • The customer will get an SMS notification of their mobile number.
  • Cash Withdraw in Sub agent outlet:

Account-holders can withdraw money from nominated outlets at the Agent Banking Outlet point/Teller point:

  • The customer comes to the Agent Banking Outlet for withdrawal and is informed of the account number and amount.
  • The agent banking teller will process it using a password/PIN.
  • Agent Banking Teller will start the Withdrawal transaction
  • Input account number and amount
  • The customer will verify the account number and amount and Input the Customer’s FP.
  • The system will debit the customer account and credit the Agent Banking Outlet account.
  • Agent Banking Outlet/Teller will hand over cash to the customer
  • Customers will be notified through SMS if the mobile number is linked.

*Balance Enquiry in Sub Agent outlet:

  • The customer comes to Sub-Agent Point for balance checks and tells the account number.
  • The sub-agent Teller will process it using a password/PIN.
  • Initiates Balance inquiry transaction
  • Input account number
  • The customer will verify the account number and then Input Customer’s FP
  • The system shows the customer’s balance
  • Sub-Agent Teller will provide a slip

Bill payment through Sub-Agent/Teller:

  • Utility Providers can collect their bills from their consumers (from customer accounts).
  • The customer comes to the Sub-Agent/Teller Point for bill payment and tells his Biller ID, bill number, account number, and amount.
  • The sub-agent/teller will process it using a password/PIN.
  • Sub-Agent/Teller will start the Bill Pay transaction
  • Input Biller ID, bill number, account number, and amount
  • The customer will verify the account number, utility company ID/ code, bill number, and amount and then input the FP
  • The system will debit the customer account and credit the Biller account
  • The customer will be notified if the mobile number is linked and provided with a slip.

Bill Payment from Sub-Agent/Teller account (cash payment):

  • The customer comes to Sub-Agent Point for bill payment and tells us his biller ID, bill number, and amount.
  • The sub-agent/teller will process it using a password/PIN.
  • Sub-Agent/Teller will start the Bill Pay transaction
  • Input Biller ID, bill number, Sub-Agent’s account number, and amount
  • Sub-Agent/Teller will verify the utility company ID/ code, bill number, and amount and then input the FP
  • The system will debit the Sub-Agent’s account and credit the biller’s account
  • The sub-agent/teller will put a seal on the customer’s copy of the bill.

Person-to-Person Transfer:

  • The customer comes to the Sub-Agent/Teller Point for fund transfer; tell the customer the account number, destination account number, and amount.
  • The sub-agent/teller will process it using a password/PIN.
  • Sub-Agent/Teller Initiates P2P transaction
  • Input source account (customer) number
  • Input destination account number
  • Input amount
  • The customer will verify the destination account number and amount and Input the Customer’s FP.
  • The system will debit the customer account and credit the destination account. The Customer (sender/receiver) will be notified, and a Printed slip will be provided.

Bio-metric Deposit plus Scheme (DPS)

  • Customers can open the Bio-metric Deposit Plus Scheme (DPS). If the customer can save money every month
  • The amount to be deposited monthly is Tk-100/- to 10000/e per month, and the term is 3, 5, 8, or 10 years.
  • The monthly instalment is successful automatically from the customer’s savings account.
  • Any Bangladeshi customer can open a Bio-metric Deposit plus Scheme agonist saving account of DBBL Agent banking.

Bio-metric Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR)

  • Any Bangladeshi customer can open a Bio-metric Fixed Deposit (FDR) agonist saving account of the DBBL agent banking account.
  • The customer can open FDR for TK-10 000/- and above amount for 3,6 & 12 months tenure.
  • The FDR will be opened by debiting the customer’s savings account, and at maturity, the principal amount and the maturity benefit will be credited to their Account.
